Intergovernmental Agreement between the Macon County Emergency Management <br /> Agency, Macon County Emergency Telephone System Board, and the City of Decatur <br /> Emergency Communications Center for the implementation of a County Wide Emergency <br /> Notification System. <br /> hr h <br /> W e eas t e Count of Macon and the Cit of Decatur are notified and dis atched to <br /> , Y <br /> Y P <br /> Emergencies and Disasters within Homeland Security Region 15, and are responsible for the <br /> notification to the public under certain emergency situations, and it is in the best interest of the <br /> citizens of Decatur and Macon County to enter into this agreement thereof. <br /> Now, Therefore,the parties agree as follows; <br /> 1. The Macon County Emergency Management Agency("EMA")has been approved by the <br /> Illinois Terrorism Task Force to purchase a County Wide Emergency Notification <br /> System for alerting the public of certain emergencies within Decatur and Macon County. <br /> The Macon County EMA will be responsible for purchasing the Diagnostic <br /> Communications Corp. ("DCC")Notification System under the guidelines of the <br /> Department of Homeland Security and the Illinois Terrorism Task Force. <br /> 2. The Macon County Emergency Telephone System Board ("ETSB")will be responsible <br /> for and provide the necessary telephone data updates per the specifications of the DCC <br /> Notification System on a semi-annual basis to the Decatur Emergency Communications <br /> Center for the purpose of updating Emergency Notification System telephone <br /> information. <br /> 3. The City of Decatur Emergency Communications Center will be responsible for the <br /> twelve(12) telephone lines and all maintenance costs associated with the DCC <br /> Notification System. <br /> Dated the last date herein below written. <br /> ��� � � <br /> i �o�� <br /> Olin D.
