Zion, Harristown, <br /> and Long Creek and compare to the projections presented in the Report <br /> 6. Review and discuss improvements made to water supply, distribution, treatment, <br /> pumping, and storage since the last Report. The OWNER will provide this <br />� information to the ENGINEER. <br /> 7. Modify the water system service area boundary to include all of the area shown <br /> within the City planning boundary. The OWNER will provide a map to define <br />, service area limits. The system's ability to provide service to all areas within the <br /> service area boundary will be examined and discussed. Emphasis will be given to the <br /> area south of Lake Decatur up to one-half mile south of Highway 30 between USH <br /> 51 and Franklin Street. <br /> 8. Revise system improvement recommendations needed in the next 5 years to <br /> accommodate system changes developed as a result of this evaluation. <br /> 9. Provide computer modeling. <br /> a. Update the existing computer model with all water mains installed since 2002, as <br /> provided by the OWNER. <br /> b. Provide an engineer to support the OWNER's staff in conducting fire flow tests. <br /> The 17 locations tested previously plus up to 8 additional locations will be field <br /> tested. <br /> c. Check and, if necessary,recalibrate the updated model to the new fire flow data. <br /> d. Add any mains to the model that the City intends to construct in the next 5 years. <br /> e. Evaluate the system under the 2005 and 2010 demand conditions shown below <br /> (if these demand conditions are significantly different from each other): <br /> (1) Average day <br /> (2) Maximum day <br /> (3) Maximum day plus fire <br /> (4) Maximum hour <br /> (5) Maximum day-night reservoir refill conditions <br /> (6) Extended period elevated tank operating conditions <br /> (7) Operational issues with the South Water Treatment Plant (SWTP) and the <br /> Williams Street Reservoir <br /> (8) Power failure at the SWTP <br /> Plot and present the hydraulic grade line and pressure contours under all <br /> simulated conditions. <br /> MGO:nep\S:\(a�SAI\601--650\624\031\Wrd\Strand Deca[ur Agreement.doc <br />
