Staff recommends that the City Council <br /> approve a contract with Christy-Foltz, Inc., to perform the Fire Station Driveway Rehabilitation <br /> project. Staff further recommends that Alternative B be funded. The alternative bid items were <br /> set up to establish unit prices for additional work items that were over the budgeted allocation <br /> based on the Engineer's estimate. The bid for Alternate B from Christ-Foltz, Inc. allows for <br /> additional rehabilitation work to be performed and be within budget constraints. <br /> POTENTIAL OBJECTION: There are no known objections to this resolution and <br /> bid award. <br /> INPUT FROM OTHER SOURCES: None <br /> STAFF REFERENCE: Steven Swanson, Director of Engineering & �� <br /> Infrastructure, at 424-2747 <br /> Matt Newell, City Engineer, at 424-2747 II <br /> The Director of Engineering and Infrastructure, Steve Swanson, will be in attendance at the City <br /> Council meeting to answer any questions of the Council on this item. <br /> BUDGET/TIME IMPLICATIONS: <br /> Funding for this project will come from the Capital Project Fund, and is within the budget <br /> allocation. Additionally, funding has been coordinated with the Fire Department.
