The new contract will cover a 3 year period beginning January 1, 2016, and ending December 31, <br /> 2018. <br /> US EPA Consent Order <br /> Recent approval of the Consent Order with the US EPA regarding the sanitary sewer system and the <br /> associated contract with AECOM to perform a condition assessment of the system have greatly <br /> accelerated the need to gather all the information possible on the various elements of the City's <br /> sanitary sewers. The sewer inspection services provided under this agreement are a vital component <br /> of the City's efforts to meet the objectives of the Order. <br /> SCHEDULE: The Annual Sewer Inspection Services Contract will be for a 3 year period beginning <br /> January 1, 2016, and ending December 31, 2018. <br /> POTENTIAL OBJECTION: There are no known objections. <br /> INPUT FROM OTHER SOURCES: None <br /> STAFF REFERENCE: Richard Marley, Public Works Director, and Matt Newell, City Engineer. <br /> Richard Marley will be in attendance at the City Council meeting to answer any questions of the <br /> Council on this item. <br /> BUDGET/TIME IMPLICATIONS: <br /> Budget Impact: Annual Sanitary Sewer Inspection Program funding is allocated in the Sewer Fund <br /> and Stormwater Fund as follows: <br /> FLTND FY 2016 FY 2017 FY 2018 <br /> SANITARY $400,000 $400,000 $400,000 <br /> STORM $50,000 $50,000 $50,000 <br /> YEARLY $450,000 $450,000 $450,000 <br /> TOTALS <br /> The budgeted allocation in the City's Capital Improvement Plan is $450,000 per year through 2018 <br /> for a total allocation of$1,350,000.
