The results for the letting are as <br /> follows: <br /> Compared to <br /> Engineer's Est. <br /> Bidder Bid Price Over (-Under) <br /> Engineer's Estimate $ 969,525.58 ---- <br /> Dunn Company, A <br /> Division of Tyrolt, Inc. $ 993,216.35 2.44 % <br /> Illinois Va1leyPaving Co. $1,106,213.09 14.10 % <br /> Dunn Company, A Division of Tyrolt, Inc. provided the low bid for the proposed work. Staff <br /> recommends that the City Council approve a contract with Dunn Company, A Division of Tyrolt, <br /> Inc., to perform the Street Reconstruction project. <br /> POTENTIAL OBJECTION: There are no known objections to this resolution and <br /> bid award. <br /> INPUT FROM OTHER SOURCES: None <br /> STAFF REFERENCE: Matt Newell, City Engineer, at 424-2747 <br /> The City Engineer, Matt Newell, will be in attendance at the City Council meeting to answer any <br /> questions of the Council on this item. <br /> BUDGET/TIME IMPLICATIONS: <br /> Funding for this project is budgeted in the General Street Capital Fund.
