I. DEFINITIONS <br /> For the purposes of this agreement,the following terms shall apply: <br /> Collection Hours: Collection shall begin no earlier than 7:00 a.m. and be completed by <br /> 5:00 p.m. on the district collection day. <br /> Collection Point: The curb of a street in front of a dwelling(see definition of curbside <br /> below). <br /> Collection Routes: The districts shown on the map of the City attached hereto as Exhibit <br /> "A"and made a part hereof subject to change pursuant to Local Improvements and <br /> Annexations in Section VI. <br /> Collection Vehicles: One-ton dump bed vehicles with recycling trailer, or such other <br /> vehicles as approved by the City,purchased by the Contractor but subject to approval by <br /> the City for collection of recyclable materials within the City. <br /> Commercial: All that which is not considered residential. <br /> Curbside: Adjacent to the street pavement or alley pavement and within three(3) feet <br /> thereof. <br /> Dwellin�s: Occupied single residences and apartment buildings containing no more than <br /> six units,provided that each occupied unit in said apartment buildings contains no more <br /> than six units. Each occupied unit in said apartment buildings shall be considered one <br /> dwelling for puiposes of collection of recyclable materials and billing. <br /> Holidavs: New Year's Day,Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, <br /> Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. <br /> Missed Collection: The failure of Contractor to collect from any dwelling, within a <br /> collection route, recyclable materials timely placed at the collection point during <br /> collection hours on the district collection day for that dwelling. <br /> Non-Recvclables: All refuse, garbage, rubbish, and waste matter which are not a <br /> recyclable material. <br /> Public Awareness Program: Program developed and provided by Contractor to <br /> inform and encourage residents to use the recycling collection services. <br /> Recvclable Materials: All newspapers, food product glass, aluminum,tin, and bi-metal <br /> cans,plastic milk jugs,high density polyethylene (HDPE)', slick page magazines, <br /> catalogues and such other materials the parties may agree in writing. <br /> Rec ��g Collection Services: Those services to be performed by Contractor as follows: <br /> 2 <br />
