The City shall notify the SHPO annually whether it has employed or contracted ' <br /> with qualified professionals to carry out reviews under the terms of the I <br /> Programmatic Agreement or whether it will require assistance from the SHPO. The �I <br /> vitae of qualified professionals and/or contractors shall be provided to the SHPO for �, <br /> review as a component of the Certified Local Govemment Annual Report. � <br /> D. The City will notify the SHPO of any proposed staffing changes or vacancies. If <br /> the City does not have Certified Staff in place or if the SHPO does not certify a City <br /> staff person or consultant,then this Agreement will become null and void and the <br /> City instead will comply with 36 CFR Part 800.4 through 800.6 with regard to <br /> individual undertakings covered by this Agreement. <br /> II. Ezempt Activities <br /> When the following activities are proposed for properties listed on the National register <br /> or eligible for listing on the National Register, further review is not required because <br /> there is limited potential to affect the historic resource. <br /> A. Involvement of properties less than 50 years old not listed on or not eligible for the <br /> National Register <br /> B. Repair or replacement of electrical,plumbing,heating and ventilation systems or their <br /> components,when no structural alteration is involved. This includes repair or <br /> replacements of electrical panels,breakers, circuits, switches,receptacles and <br /> fixtures,plumbing and water lines, drains, sewers, fixtures,water heaters,heating <br /> vents, floor furnaces,wall heaters, central heat systems and gas lines. <br /> C. Painting of any exterior component which has previously been painted. <br /> D. Roof replacement of asphalt shingles. <br /> E. Repair or replacement of existing curbs and sidewalks in kind(historic slate <br /> sidewalks aze NOT exempt). <br /> F. Emergency programs (but not emergency demolitions). <br /> III. Identification and Evaluation of Htstoric Properties <br /> A. Identification of Historic Properties <br /> 1. The City will continue to survey its historic properties and forward information <br /> on locally significant properties to the SHPO. This information will be <br /> conveyed via the Certified Local Government Annual Report. <br /> 2 <br />
