6. That the Town shall not furnish water service through its system to any premises ' <br /> unless said premises are served by and connected with a properly installed and operating ; <br /> sanitary waste disposal facility which may include a properly operating and installed septic tank <br /> system conforming with the specifications, standards and regulations of the State of Illinois '�' <br /> regarding such systems. I� <br /> 7. (a) That during the term of this Agreement the City shall furnish to the Town treated <br /> and potable water from the water works system of the City via the water main interconnection <br /> on E. Maryland Avenue. The quantity of water to be so furnished shall be limited to not to <br /> exceed an average of 500,000 gallons per day, calculated monthly, whether the same is <br /> delivered at one or more points of delivery, and the same shall be delivered by the City at a <br /> pressure of not less than 40 pounds static; subject, however, to the provisions of paragraph 14 <br /> hereof. <br /> (b) The Town shall notify the City's Water Production Office by telephone (424-2831) <br /> not later than one (1) hour after any potable water treated by the City is placed into the Town's <br /> distribution system, and shall briefly explain such placement and use at such time. <br /> 8. That at said delivery point or points the Town shall furnish and install to City <br /> standards and specifications metering and regulating devices which shall remain the property <br /> of #he Town and by it made accessible to the City for reading and inspection. Said metering <br /> and regulating devices shall be sealed against tampering or unauthorized adjustment and shall <br /> be tested by the City, at the expense of the City, from time to time upon request in writing from <br /> the City to the Town. The City reserves the right to install telemetry recording devices to said <br /> metering with the City being responsible for all installation and maintenance expenses. <br /> 9. The quantity of water furnished the Town by the City shall be determined monthly at <br /> such time during the month as shall be determined by the City.
