� MUNIS — SUMMER SEWER ADJUSTMENTS—Work Order #MN49987 � Decatur, IL December 15, 2003 - Custom Spec and Quote General Overview: Decatur, II,has submitted a request to bill their Residential customers a summer adjustment far the SEWER and SURCHARGE billings for a user defined summer period. During this summer period,the current Sewer and SURCHARGE consumption will be billed for the LESSER of (1) Avera�e consumption for the last two Water billin�s. (2) Current consumption for the current Water bill. For all other months the SEWER and SURCHARGE will be billed for the current WATER consumption. • MUNIS will make the following changes to the RATE HEADER: (1) Add a new METHOD code (N)one (2) Add three new fields • Include ZERO Reads in Average(y/n) • Ineligible if Previous Estimated Reading (y/n) • Ineligible if Current Estimated Reading (y/n) • MLTNIS will populate the new R.ATE HEADER fields in the 2004 ALTER. Program Chan�es: UB Rate Maintenance(ubratemt) Change program to display and allow entry into new fields. UB Cal Bill(ubcalbil� Change to use new Rate Header fields to calculate Base on Other usage. UB Charges Maintenance (ubchgmnt) This program will be modified to handle the new rate header fields. UB Bill Maintenance jubbilmnt) This program will be modified to handle the new rate header fields. On the PARAMETER FILE use Winter Quarter Dates for Water Winter months and Peak Use Dates for Sewer Summer months. Estimated Cost: $7,500 Requirement: New Gui 2004. Deliverv: Available in May 2004 Additional Information GBF/FORMUNIS will need to build the following logic into your current bill print fortn: "If field 601 (Winter Quarter Usage)is less than field 98 (Total Factored Usage)then print `message' from�eld 621 (message to be defined by Sharon Hall) Please note the followin�: • The message will need to be created by Sharon Hall and entered into field 621 of the bill print form definition. Sharon and Kathryn will work on this together the week of January 26tn,2004. • The Meter Reading Code `SA' for Summer Adjustment will need to be removed from the bill by Christine Edson ' at GBF/FORMLTNIS. ' • Christine would like to make the changes right away to avoid a future cost for Decatur. Christine will contact Sharon to make these changes in early February.
