unless otherwise specified in this Contract. The Contractor shall not allow any <br /> subcontractor to substitute materials from those listed in this Contract without the <br /> written consent of the Owner and the Sponsor. If the materials used in the Proj ect fail <br /> to meet these standards, fail to conform to the specifications or have been substituted <br /> without the Owner's and the Sponsor's written consent, the Contractor shall replace and <br /> reinstall the materials at the Contractor's expense. <br /> b. All materials shall be delivered to the job-site in the original packages, containers, <br /> or bundles bearing the name of the manufacturer and the brand name and product <br /> � technical description. <br /> c. Polyethylene sheet in a roll size to minimize the frequency of joints shall be <br /> delivered to job site with factory label indicating 6 mil. <br /> d. Polyethylene disposable bags shall be six (6)mil with preprinted label, with <br /> plastic tie wraps for bags. <br /> e. Contractor shall at all times maintain on the job site in a bound book Material <br /> Safety Data Sheets for all materials used in performance of this contract. <br /> 18. Guarantees. The Contractor shall guarantee and redo, repair or replace any materials or <br /> Work that fail to conform to the requirements of this Contract, if such failure appears <br /> during the progress of the Work. The Contractor shall further guarantee and shall <br /> remedy any defects due to faulty materials or workmanship that appear within one (1) <br /> year from the date of final acceptance of all the Work performed under this Contract. <br /> The Contractor shall fumish the Owner with all manufacturers' and suppliers' written <br /> guarantees and warranties covering materials and equipment furnished under this <br /> Contract. The Contractor shall insure that this provision shall also apply to the Work <br /> and materials supplied by any subcontractor in connection with this Contract. <br /> 19. Utilities. The Owner shall provide the Contractor with utilities at no charge. <br /> 20. Owner/Occupant Cooperation. <br /> a. The Owner/Occupant shall cooperate with the Contractor to facilitate the <br /> performance of the Work, including providing access to the Property and the Work areas <br /> therein and removing and replacing rugs, coverings and furniture, as necessary. The <br /> Owner shall not do anything that causes substantial delay of the Project, or makes it <br /> practically impossible for the Contractor to perform. <br /> b. When relocation of the occupants is required, the Owner/Occupant shall not <br /> attempt to enter the premises until final cleazance is achieved. The Owner/Occupant <br /> also shall not attempt to enter a contained work area without Respirator protection and <br /> PPE, and adhering to all worker safety and protection practices required by the <br /> Contractor. <br /> Page 8 of 22 <br />
