The City
will provide up to 50% of the cost of the project, not-to-exceed $4,750 per rental unit, using
Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds, from the U.S. Department of Housing and
Urban Development. A sample agreement is attached for your review.
POTENTIAL OBJECTION5:
City staff is not aware of any objections.
INPUT FROM OTHER SOURCES:
Federal guidelines for the use of entitlement funds
STAFF REFERENCE:
Should the City Council have any questions, they may contact Linda Love, Neighborhood
Programs Manager at 424-2777 or email ljlove@decaturnet.org
BUDGET/TIME IMPLICATIONS:
$66,500 in FY03-04 CDBG funds.
