(Z1'n 872-4665 PROCEDURE FOR RETRIEVAL OF VEffiCLE(OR PERSONAL PROPERTY CONTAINED THEREIl�TOWED A1�TD/OR STORED BY PRAIRIELAND AT THE REQUEST OF THE CITY OF DECATUR ACTING THROUGH'THE DECATUR POLICE DEPARTMENT If your vehicle was towed and/or stored by Prairieland at the request or direction of the Decatur Police Department,you may obtain possession of said vehicle(or personal property contained therein)by complying with the following provisions: (1) If the current vehicle registration is located in the vehicle,the registered owner should proceed to the premises of PrairiEland with current photographic identification (such as a current driver's license), together with payment for all towing and storage fees. The amount of payment is set forth by agreement between Prairieland and the City of Decatur,and you are entitled to receive a copy of the appropriate charges for the services provided by Prairieland. (2) If the current vehicle registration is not located in the vehicle,the regisrtered owner should proceed to the premises of Prairieland with thc current vehicle regis�ation and current photographic idtntification(such as a current driver's license),together with payment for all towing and storage fees. The amount of payment is set forth by agreement between Prairieland and the City of Decatur,and you are enritled to receive a copy of the appropriate charges for the services provided by Prairieland. (3) If the registered owner of the vehicle is not available to retrieve the vehicle,the person authorized by the registered owner may be required to provide proof of such authorization,together with photographic identification,and such person may be required to execute a request that includes a sworn statement that the person has the authority to obtain immediate possession of the vehicle and an agreement to indemnify Prairieland if a claim is made against Prairieland for releasing the vehicle to such person. � (4) If you require some personal property contained within the vehicle,excluding accessions to the vehicle,you should proceed to the premises of Prairieland with current photographic identification(such as a current driver's license),and identify the personal property requested,and you may be required to execute a request that includes a sworn statement that the person has the authority to obtain immediate possession of the personal property and an agreement to indemnify Piairieland if a claim is made agai�t Prairieland for releasing the personal property to such person. (5) You should contact Prairieland if you should have any quesrions about the documrntation or information required for release of the vehicle or personal property contained therein. YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO COMPLETE A COMPLA.INT FORM IF YOU ARE DISSATISFIED WITH THE PROVISION OF ANY SERVICE BY PRAIItIELAND,AND SUCH FORM WII.L BE PROVIDED TO YOU AT YOUR REQUEST. A COPY OF THE COMPLETED FORM WII.L BE REVIEWED BY PRAIRIELAND AND A COPY WII,L BE PROVIDED TO THE DECATUR POLICE DEPARTMENT. EX�IIBTT E
