The Agreement will enable the City and the SDD to revise the facilities plan that will allow an <br /> expansion of the District's interceptor system and ultimately pave the way for the future <br /> expansion of sanitary sewers to meet development needs and reduce sanitary overflows in the <br /> area. <br /> POTENTIAL OBJECTION: There are no known objections to this agreement. <br /> INPUT FROM OTHER SOURCES: Greg Kuchy, Sanitary District of Decatur <br /> STAFF REFERENCE: Matt Newell, City Engineer, at 424-2747 <br /> The City Engineer, Matt Newell, will be in attendance at the City Council meeting to answer any <br /> questions of the Council on this item. <br /> BUDGET/TIME IMPLICATIONS: <br /> Funding for this Agreement is currently budgeted in the General Capital Fund. The Agreement is <br /> for$50,000 with the City's portion set at a maximum of 50%or$25,000. <br /> If approved, the City and the SDD will solicit proposals from eligible engineering firms.
