For years, the project area has been plagued by poorly defined drainage ways and ditches that
have not efficiently conducted storm water runoff through and away from the area. Many of the
drainage ways are in back yard areas that are inaccessible to routine City maintenance.
The proposed project will install a storm sewer that will provide more reliable drainage for the
Karen Drive area in order to meet the storm water capacity needs identified in the study.
The Engineering Services Agreement will complete the design of the storm sewer line which
includes the necessary topographical surveying, construction drawings, and project documents.
POTENTIAL OBJECTION: There are no known objections to this agreement.
INPUT FROM OTHER SOURCES: Phillip W.
