EXHIBIT "A" <br /> SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> SERVICES TO BE PERFORMED: GENERAL <br /> The CONSULTANT shall: <br /> • Create, Plan, Design and provide General Specifications, for a system of <br /> signage to reflect the character and identity as requested by the City of I <br /> Decatur. The CONSULTANT shall familiarize Itself with the City environment , <br /> and shall proceed to create a signage system that identifies signage to be �� <br /> placed and located within the perimeter of the City as to create an information I <br /> routin to �nd identified destinations and arkin in and around the Cit . I <br /> 9 P <br /> 9 Y <br /> II. SPECIFIC SERVICES TO BE PERFORMED <br /> Planning, Design, General Specifications and Technical Service <br /> Concerning a Sign System for the City of Decatur: <br /> Within one hundred fifty (150) days of execution of the Agreement <br /> CONSULTANT will complete Phase I of the project as identified below: <br /> 1. A custom designed and complete "family of signs" to reflect the character <br /> and identity of the City including an existing designated City logo or <br /> graphic design. <br /> 2. A master site plan for proximity locations of the signs with sign types, <br /> legends and messages in and around designated "Downtown" and other <br /> portions of the City. <br /> 3. Drawings and general specifications of the signs based on CITY approval <br /> complying with both IDOT and County regulations for signing in "the right <br /> of way". <br /> III. SPECIFIC TASKS <br /> PHASE I -- Create, Plan, Design, and Specify Sign System <br /> 1. Data Gathering <br /> a. CONSULTANT will assemble all reports, maps, plans, surveys, and <br /> other documents including new planned projects for specific areas as <br /> provided by the CITY. <br /> b. The CITY will provide information as to future street construction and <br /> amenities projects that will affect street signage. <br /> CONTRACT <br /> PAGE 11 <br />
