TranSystems is a transportation planning and engineering firm <br /> headquartered in Kansas City, with offices located throughout the United States.TranSystems specializes in <br /> all modes of transportation including passenger and freight rail, highways, ports, and airports. As a result of <br /> this purchase, TranSystems' public transportation consulting capabilities are significantly expanded and <br /> Muitisystem's consulting clients have access to TranSystems broader transportation consulting expertise. <br /> To facilitate a smooth transition from Multisystems to TranSystems, the above referenced contract will <br /> need to be assigned to TranSystems Corporation. This letter is provided as notice of the proposed transfer of <br /> tliis contract from Multisystems to TranSystems on the effective date of the purchase. Toward this end, <br />' please find enc(osed an assignment document that authorizes Multisystems' staff to continue work under <br /> the subject contract as employees of TranSystems. Please review, sign, and return the document by June <br /> 16, 2003 if possible. <br /> Please be assured that the purchase of the division and transfer of tliis contract from Multisystems to <br /> TranSystems will not result in any reduction of service or change in the quality of services that you are used <br /> to receiving from Multisystems. Substantially, all of Multisystem's professional consulting staff will <br /> become emp(oyees of TranSystems as a result of this purchase. The Multisystems staff assigned to this <br /> contract with Decatur will not change. The purchase will also have no effect on the contract pricing or the <br /> schedule for completion of the work. Also, please note that work under the subject contract will be about <br /> 80% complete at the time of the sale. Ten of the 12 tasks under the contract should be completed by the <br /> end of June. <br /> Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.
