FY-2004 TRANSIT PLANNING PROGRAM <br /> 102 Coordination & Information: To administer all aspects of the Decatur Public <br /> Transit System (DPTS) including public meetings, news releases, staff <br /> coordination, documentation and certification. <br /> 103 Transportation Support: To administer in a timely manner all aspects of transit <br /> planning contracts, including preparation of funding applications, financial and <br /> program status reports, quarterly reports and invoices. <br /> 106 Unified Transportation Planning Work Program (UTPWP): To develop the <br /> annual planning work program (the FY 2005 UTPWP) that addresses multi- <br /> modal transportation issues/problems. <br /> 201 Data Collection &Analysis: To collect and analyze socio-economic <br /> information and information on various transportation modes and systems <br /> in the Decatur Urbanized Area, and to maintain current assessment of Transit <br /> ridership, revenues and expenditures, and routes and service. <br /> 501 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP): To maintain an up-dated three '� <br /> year, multi-modal TIP, the FY 2005 - FY 2007 Transportation Improvement I <br /> Program including capital and operating expenses. <br /> 502 Transportation Systems Management: To review and analyze transit <br /> management including: 1) DPTS performance standards; 2) DPTS' <br /> performance relative to other transit systems; 3) on/off board transit passenger <br /> surveys to assist with designing more efficient routes and schedules; 4) transit <br /> fares, scheduling, routing, service for the disabled, DBE/WBE/MBE <br /> participation, and private enterprise involvement in transit; 5)transit fleet <br /> replacement; 6) security inspections to determine quality of service; and 7) <br /> identify any problems in the operational, maintenance or administrative areas of <br /> transit. <br /> 503 Long Range Transportation Plan: To develop a long range transportation plan <br /> update, the 2025 Long Range Transportation Plan. <br /> IDOT SHARE: 80% $ 30,360 <br /> CITY SHARE 20% $ 7,590 <br /> TOTAL 100% $ 37,950 <br />
