. � , . <br /> Neither the funding request from the Senior Center nor a subsidy for leaf collection and <br /> disposal(separate item) was budgeted. Last year $60,000 was spent on the U of I Extension to <br /> perform the service. At that funding level, and coupled with the attached,the contingency fund <br /> will be reduced by almost $100,000. This may or may not prove to be a problem, depending on <br /> the ultimate carryover into 2004-2005. If the carryover proves too small it not only has negative <br /> financial implications but may impair the City's credit rating, which was improved when the last <br /> refunding was accorr�plished in 2000.
