EXH�BET"R" EG}UAL EMPLOYt�1EN�' OPPORTUNITY C�AUS� required by the Illin�is Fair Employment Practices Commission as a material term of all publi�contracts: EQUAL ENlPLOYM�NT OPPORTUNiTY In the event of the contractor`s noncompliance wit� any provision 'of this �qual Ernplayment Opportunity Clause, the lllinois Fair Employment Practices Act or the Fair Ernploymenf Ptactices Commission's Rufes and Regul�tions fot' Public contracts, the cantractor may be d�clared nonrespansible and therefore ine[igible for fut�re contracts or subcontracts with the State of Illinois or any of its political subdivision or municipal corporations, and the cantract may be canceled or avoided in whvle or in part, and s�cch �kher sanctior+s or penalties may be irr;pose�+ or remedies invoked as provided by statute or reguiation. During the performance of this cantract, the contraetor agrees as fallows: (1} That it will nat discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of raoe, color, r�l�gior, sex, natlonal �rigin or �ncestry; and further that it wil� examine a11 job classifications to determine if minority persons or wqmer� are undar-utilized and will fiake appropriate affirmative action to rectify any s;�ch under-utilization, {2) That, if it hires additional employees in order to pertorm this contract, or any portion hereof, it will determine the availability (in accordance wi�h the Commission's Ru{ss and Regulations for Public Contracts) of minorities and women in the area{s) from which it may reascnabIy recruit and it wiJl hire for each job cEassification far whieh employees are hi�ed in such Q way that minorities and wome,*t are not under-utilized. r,3) That, in al! solicitatians or advertisements for employess placed by it or an i;s benalf, it will sta+.e that al) applicants will be afforcied equal opportunity without discrimination �a�caus��f race, color, religion, sex, na:ianal origin or ancestry.
