. � • � <br /> NOTICE <br /> SALE OF REAL ESTATE <br /> The City of Decatur, Illinois will receive and consider offers from any and all interested <br /> parties for the purchase of the following described real estate, owned by the City: <br /> The North 3.01 (+/-) acres of the East 1/2 of the West 1/2 of the Northwest (N� 1/4 of <br /> the Northwest(NV� 1/4 of Section 34, Township 17 North, Range 3 East. <br /> The above legal description is approximate. The successful bidder will be responsible for <br /> the costs of subdividing the larger City-owned tract to enable the precise description and <br /> conveyance of the above-descnbed parcel. No easement across remaining City-owned property <br /> will be conveyed to the successful bidder. <br /> Offers to purchase should be submitted to the City Clerk on or before July 16, 2003. The <br /> City Clerk's office is located on the third floar of the Decatur Civic Center, One Gary K. <br /> Anderson Plaza, Decatur, Illinois. Offers submitted after such time will not be considered, except <br /> at the discretion of City Council. <br /> The City reserves the right to reject any and all offers, to negotiate with any party <br /> submitting an offer, or any other party, and to accept any offer, after negotiations or otherwise, <br /> which is deemed in the best interests of the City by the City Council regardless of price, in the <br /> exercise of its home rule powers. <br /> The City reserves the right to require the successful bidder to furnish an appraisal of value <br /> prior to final acceptance of the bid, at the discretion of the City. <br /> EXHIBIT B <br />
