. � • � NOTICE SALE OF REAL ESTATE The City of Decatur, Illinois will receive and consider offers from any and all interested parties for the purchase of the following described real estate, owned by the City: The North 3.01 (+/-) acres of the East 1/2 of the West 1/2 of the Northwest (N� 1/4 of the Northwest(NV� 1/4 of Section 34, Township 17 North, Range 3 East. The above legal description is approximate. The successful bidder will be responsible for the costs of subdividing the larger City-owned tract to enable the precise description and conveyance of the above-descnbed parcel. No easement across remaining City-owned property will be conveyed to the successful bidder. Offers to purchase should be submitted to the City Clerk on or before July 16, 2003. The City Clerk's office is located on the third floar of the Decatur Civic Center, One Gary K. Anderson Plaza, Decatur, Illinois. Offers submitted after such time will not be considered, except at the discretion of City Council. The City reserves the right to reject any and all offers, to negotiate with any party submitting an offer, or any other party, and to accept any offer, after negotiations or otherwise, which is deemed in the best interests of the City by the City Council regardless of price, in the exercise of its home rule powers. The City reserves the right to require the successful bidder to furnish an appraisal of value prior to final acceptance of the bid, at the discretion of the City. EXHIBIT B
