Work as it is performed; to identify potential variances between scheduled and probable <br /> completion dates; to review the schedule for the Construction Work not started or <br /> incomplete, and recommend to Owner and the applicable subcontractor adjustments in <br /> the schedule to meet the completion date. <br /> Zoning, Permits and Fees. <br /> (i) Developer shall obtain all building permits and special permits for <br /> permanent improvements, including permits for inspection or temporary facilities, required <br /> for the Construction Work. Developer shall also verify that all applicable fees and <br /> assessments for permanent facilities are paid as and when due, and assist in obtaining all <br /> other approvals from all governmental entities having jurisdiction over the Construction <br /> Work. <br /> Inspection. <br /> (j) To assist the project engineer in inspecting the Construction Work to <br /> assure that the Construction Work is being performed in accordance with the requirements <br /> of the Plans. Developer shall endeavor to guard against defects and deficiencies in the <br /> Construction Work. Developer shall require the applicable subcontractor to stop the <br /> Construction Work on any portion thereof that appears to be deficient, and to require <br /> special inspection or testing of any of the Construction Work in accordance with the <br /> provisions of the Plans, whether or not the Construction Work has been fabricated, <br /> installed or completed at such time. Developer shall advise Owner concerning the <br /> rejection of any of the Construction Work which does not conform to the requirements of <br /> the Plans and shall cause the applicable subcontractor to correct any such rejected <br /> Construction Work to the reasonable satisfaction of Developer and Owner. <br /> 5 <br />
