EXHIBIT 6
MINIMUM HARDWARE AND WORKSTATION SPECIFICATIONS
Minimum Requirements —Windows NT/ 2000 Based MUNIS Server
1. Server
The following are the minimum platform requirements for 200 concurrent users. Please
keep in mind these are minimum recommendations. Deviations that do not meet these
configurations are not guaranteed to perform at the level that we promise. Support for
performance issues will be limited. The server must be a stand-alone application server
with no other applications or services running on the Munis Server unless it is approved
by Munis.
Class E sites -up to 200 concurrent users:
Dual Pentium III Xeon Processors (1 MB Cache)
6 GB RAM (Windows Advanced Server Edition required)
Compatible Network Interface Card
2 - RAID 0+1/10 Capable F/W SCSI Quad Channel Controller
8 - 18 GB lOK RPM SCSI Hard Drives
8 MB Video Display Adapter
15" SVGA Monitor
' Internal CD Drive
Internal Backup Tape Drive (DDS4,DLT, etc)
Internal 1.44MB Floppy Drive
2—External Comm. Ports
US Robotics External 56k Modem
Smart UPS - 6 outlets, sized for Server configuration !
Hardware Notes:
- Support Connection: All Servers MUST have a PC Anywhere support connection,
either by modem or reliable Internet connection. This connection must be tested by
connecting to a modem in the Falmouth,Maine office. If using an Internet
connection, the connection must be tested by a login from one of the support PC's
located in the Falmouth, Maine office.
- Common Ontions: RAID controller(s), Multiple Hard Drive Controllers, Multiple
Bus Machines, Redundant power supplies, redundant cooling fans, Hot Swap drive
bays. Many options exist that may improve performance or data integrity. When
sizing a machine, keep in mind the following performance facts:
- The disk sub system has the greatest impact on performance.
- Increasing data integrity generally decreases overall performance.
- Many small drives are more desirable than a few large drives.
- RAID 5 is NOT the "best"RAID level; we highly recommend RAID 0+1 or RAID
10.
- No RAID software.
