Operatin Svstem/Database Notes:
- Informix IDS Workgroup Edition version 7.31 is only supported on up to two processors.
Quad processors must use the full IDS product.
- Informix Standard Engine is supported on up to four processors.
- O/S File Systems of 2 Gig or higher. Informix uses the system/tmp space for temp files by
default. Splitting the O/S file structure across file systems is desirable on systems that
support it,especially/tmp.
- Application File Systems of 1-2 Gig. Allow 1Gig for Munis and Informix software. 2Gig is
recommended because most System Admins like to keep a backup copy of programs during
an update for backup/restore purposes.
- Data File Systems of 2 to 4 Gigs are recommended.
Staffing Notes:
- The Informix IDS Engine (not to be confused with IDS Workgroup Edition) requires
ongoing tuning and maintenance. We recommend appropriate Database
Administrator staffing or an OSDBA contract to maintain this level engine.
Required Software:
Customer MUNIS
Software Title Pur ose Res onsibilit Su lied
Windows NT Server 4.0 or Server Operating System
Windows 2000 Server X
NT Service Pack 4 (NT 4.0 only) O/S fixes & Updates X
NT Service Pack 6a(NT 4.0 only) O/S fixes & Updates X
WIN 2000 Service Pack 2 (2000 O/S fixes& Updates !
onl X '
NT 4.0 CAL or Client Access License
Windows 2000 CAL X
NT 4.0 Option Pack Contains required programs
Not required for Windows 2000 X
NT Resource Kit or Required Utilities
Windows 2000 Resource Kit X
Informix IDS for Workgroups Database Engine
Version 7.31 X
Informix IDS WGE Support Annual Assurance X
Informix SDK Required Libraries for
Database En ine X
Dynamic 4GL Graphical Runtime -4J's
Licenses X
Munis Progs/Forms Munis Release Mgmt CD X
PC AnyWhere O/S Control Utility X
Ataman Remote Login/Telnet Utility X
Veritas Backup Exec Backup Software X
WinZip 8.0 Compression Utility X
