Decatur Neighborhood Services Division BES Proposal#02-0276 Subsurface Investigation July 5,2002 2.0 LETTER REPORT 2.1 Following the completion of the investigation and upon receipt of the analytical results, BODINE shall prepaze a Letter Report that outlines the findings of the subsurface investigation. Analytical results will be compared to 35 Illinois Administrative Code 742, Tiered Approach to Corrective Action Objectives (TACAO) Tier I Residential Objectives and groundwater samples, if obtained, will be compazed to 35 Illinois Administrative Code 620 for Class I and Class II Groundwater, also included in TACAO as Migration to Groundwater objectives. Included with the report will be a site diagram, boring logs, analytical results table and copies of the analytical report from the laboratory. The report will also include a written description of the activities of the investigation. 3.0 - COMPENSATION 3.1 BODINE's fee for completing the six subsurface borings, si�c soil samples for BTEX, PAHs and Lead(Total and SPLP) and three groundwater samples for VOCs along with the Letter Report as defined in Article 1.0 and Article 2.0 is Five Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty Dollars ($5,750.00). 3.2 Should additional samples be requested/required to increase the amount of data or level of confidence regazding the RECs, BODINE provides the following estimated item costs based upon the services being provided on the same day of the proposed three borings in Article 1: Soil BTEX Sample Analysis $ 60.00 each Soil PAHs Sample Analysis $150.00 each _ Soil Total& SPLP Lead Analysis $ 70.00 each Groundwater VOC Sample Analysis $ 150.00 each Additional Borings to 15 feet bgs $ 150.00 each Installation of Temporary Wells $ 120.00 each (in existing borings above) Senior Project Manager $ 105.00 hour -4- BODINE ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES,/NC.
