. . <br /> AGREEMENT <br /> UNDERGROUND TANK MONITORING SYSTEM UPGRADES <br /> FOR <br /> THE CITY OF DECATUR PUBLIC TRANSIT SYSTEM <br /> For and in consideration of the payments,promises, covenants, agreements and conditions <br /> hereinafter set forth to be paid,performed, kept and met by the respective parties hereto, this <br /> Agreement is made by and between THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS, hereinafter referred <br /> to as the "CITY", and SENECA COMPANIES,hereinafter referred to as the"CONTRACTOR". <br /> This Agreement is subject to the funding and approval of the Illinois Department of Trans- <br /> portation (IDOT) and the Federal Transit Administration(FTA), and is required to meet the <br /> minimum contract requirements set by those agencies. <br /> 1.0 COMMUNICATIONS <br /> 1.1 OFFICIAL ADDRESS <br /> For purposes of this Agreement, all notices and other communications shall be addressed <br /> to the respective parties as follows: <br /> CITY CONTRACTOR <br /> City of Decatur, Illinois Seneca Companies <br /> #1 Gary K. Hwy 48 <br /> Decatur, Illinois 62523 Oreana, Illinois 62554 <br /> 1.2 CONTACT PERSONS <br /> The persons to whom notices shall be addressed are: <br /> CITY: Paul McChancy, Mass Transit Administrator <br /> CONTRACTOR: Joe Richmond, Petroleum Equipment Representative <br /> 2A TERM OF SERVICE <br /> This Agreement shall become and be effective as of July 16, 2002, and shall continue in effect <br /> until completion of the project. The services of the CONTRACTOR shall commence upon <br /> execution of this Agreement and shall be undertaken and completed by August 31, 2002. <br /> 3.0 SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> The CONTRACTOR and any subcontractors shall perform services and supply materials as <br /> described in Attachment A: Scope of Services. <br /> Decatuf•Public Transit System <br /> Underground Tank Monitoring Upg��ades 1 <br />
