, '� . � Page 2 <br /> On June 3, Council tabled staff's dredge equipment purchase recommendation so that more <br /> information could be provided to Council. To that end, staff requested Baltimore Dredges and <br /> Dredging Supply Company to submit A) documentation of the ability of their firm to obtain a <br /> performance bond for their proposal, and B) their firm's technical and support staff credentials <br /> and experience. To date, Dredging Sup�lv Companv has submitted both items while Baltimore <br /> Dredges has not submitted either item. <br /> Additionally, the City's dredge equipment consultant, Mr. Don Searles of Dredging Specialists, <br /> Inc., will make a presentation to Council on June 17 consisting of the following attachments: <br /> 1. Dredging Equipment Evaluations and Recommendations. <br /> 2. Points that Don Searles Will Explain, including the 383 dredge and booster pump <br /> specifications that the City requested of Baltimore Dredges and Dredging Supply Company <br /> on Apri12 to consider when submitting their proposals. <br /> Mr. John Smith and Mr. Don Sheffer of Homer L. Chastain & Associates will also be present at <br /> the meeting to further assist Council on this matter. Mr. Keith Alexander will not be present due <br /> to a previously scheduled engagement. <br /> POTENTIAL OBJECTION: <br /> Baltimore Dredges, LLC. <br /> INPUT FROM OTHER SOURCES: <br /> Homer L. Chastain&Associates, Inc., Dredging Specialists, Inc., and City staff. <br /> STAFF REFERENCE: <br /> John A.
