, , , -9- International Brotherhood of Teamsters (IBT) Local 26 and Laborers International Union of North America (LIUNA) Local 1196, which represent transportation related employees in the service area of the project, have accepted the terms of the attached capital assistance protective arrangements dated March 21, 2002, and shall each be deemed a party to the Arrangements. These Arrangements provide to employees represented by the unions protections satisfying the requirements of 49 U.S.C. , Section _ 5333 (b) . Other Recipients In addition, the Department of Labor makes the certification called for under the statute on condition that the Illinois Department of Transportation (IL DOT) ensures that the language . shown on the enclosure is made applicable to the Champaign-Urbana Mass Transit District, the Counties of Bureau, Coles, Henry, , JoDaviess, Kankakee, Shelby, Stark and Warren, and to Jackson , r, �� County MTD, the City of Macomb and Rides Mass Transit District, and incorporated into the contract between the IDOT and each recipient. T�is certification letter shall be incorporated into the contract of assistance between Illinois DOT and_ FTA, by reference. � Illinois Department of Transportatioa In addition, the Department of Labor makes the certification called for under the statute on condition that the Illinois Department of Transportation (IL DOT) ensures, as a precondition to the release of assistance to any recipient, that the recipient agrees to the above terms and conditions, and that this certification letter and the terms and conditions of the above reference protective arrangemente are incorporated into the contract of assistance between the IL DOT and each Recipient, by reference.
