ISWS staff will analyze the
groundwater-level data using standard methods to determine the hydraulic
properties of the aquifer. The data will also be evaluated along with the geologic
and seepage data to delineate the areas of aquifer connections and areas of
groundwater recharge to the Mahomet Aquifer.
Task 12: Prepare a report of the findings. A report that describes the project
and provides the hydraulic properties determined from the aquifer test analyses
will be completed. The report will include maps of the drawdown in each aquifer
as well as maps of the areas of known aquifer/river connection. The report will
suggest the next steps for the Ciry of Decatur related to their existing model and
potential future use of their DeWitt well field.
Personnel
Steven D.
