RESOLUTION NO. R2002-63 <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PARTICIPATION IN <br /> ILLINOIS DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH/ <br /> MACON COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT <br /> -LEAD-BASED PAINT PROGRAM- <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, <br /> ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That the request presented to the Council herewith to participate in a program <br /> regarding the reduction of lead-based paint hazards with the Illinois Departrnent of Public Health <br /> and the Macon County Health Department be, and the same is hereby, approved. <br /> Section 2. That the City Manager and City Clerk be, and they are hereby, authorized and <br /> directed to execute any documents necessary on behalf of the City, and the City Manager is <br /> hereby further authorized to cause to be done that which may appear to be appropriate to cause <br /> said program to be fulfilled on behalf of the City; provided that, the cost to the City shall not <br /> exceed $17,000.00, which shall be paid from the City's Community Development Block Grant <br /> entitlement over a three year period from March 1, 2003 through March 1, 2005. <br /> PRESENTED and ADOPTED this 15th day of April, 2002. <br /> TERRY M OWL , MAYOR <br /> ATTEST: <br /> i�' <br /> ���� �- , <br /> ��� � C��� <br /> CITY CLERK <br />
