(popularly called pinball machines and video games); Outdoor facilities such as miniature
<br /> golf, golf driving ranges, water slides,batting cages, tennis clubs, and go-kart or bump car �
<br /> establishments; Indoor facilities such as bowling alleys; dance halls, dance clubs, and
<br /> ballrooms; racketball,handball, and squash clubs; and skating rinks.
<br /> RECREATIONAL VEHICLE: Any vehicle that is designed for recreational occupancy or use
<br /> and is not included in the definition of a mobile home as set forth in this Ordinance.
<br /> Recreational vehicles shall include but not be limited to the following: boats and boat
<br /> trailers, camping trailers, travel trailers, motor homes,mini-motor homes, truck campers, van
<br /> campers and tent campers.
<br /> RECREATIONAL VEHICLE STORAGE: The seasonal or year-round outdoor storage of a
<br /> recreational vehicle on residential property for a period that exceeds 72 hours. Temporary
<br /> parking of a vehicle for loading, visiting, etc. shall not be considered vehicle storage under
<br /> this definition.
<br /> RECYCLING CENTER: A lot or parcel of land, with or without buildings, upon which
<br /> materials are separated and processed for shipment and eventual use in new products.
<br /> RELIGIOUS FACILITY: Activities and uses which may or may not be located on the same site
<br /> as a place of worship,but which serve a religious purpose, such as convents, monasteries,
<br /> retreats, and church/synagogue ministries offering classes for children and adults.
<br /> RENTAL ESTABLISHMENTS: Businesses primarily engaged in renting or leasing machinery,
<br /> tools,recreational equipment, household items, costumes and other apparel, videos and
<br /> similar home entertainment,party and banquet supplies, and other equipment or supplies to
<br /> individuals or businesses for use off premises. This definition does not include businesses �
<br /> that rent items in conjunction with an on-premises activity, such as golf carts,bowling shoes,
<br /> etc., or rental of motor vehicles.
<br /> REPAIR SHOP: An establishment primarily engaged in fixing, refinishing, or overhauling used
<br /> or pre-owned products.
<br /> RESIDENTIAL CARE HOME: Any living quarters wherein individuals are provided
<br /> residential care, including both transitional and long-term residential care. A residential care
<br /> home does not include an intermediate or long term care facility(as herein defined), hospital,
<br /> or adult day care center or living quarters that serve persons as an alternative to incarceration
<br /> for a criminal offense. For the purposes of this ordinance, there are two categories:
<br /> Small Residential Care Home: Any residential care home, as herein defined,where no more
<br /> than eight persons are receiving care at any one time.
<br /> Large Residential Care Home: Any residential care home, as herein defined, that is designed
<br /> to provide residential care to more than eight persons at any one time.
<br /> RESTAURANT: An establishment primarily engaged in the retail sale of prepared food and
<br /> drink. For the purposes of this ordinance, there are five categories:
<br /> Carry-out: Establishments that do not typically provide indoor seating. Examples of these
<br /> establishments include ice cream, frozen custard, hot dog, and taco stands.
<br /> Convenience restaurants: Establishments that tend to rely upon pedestrian traffic and are �
<br /> typically located in business or commercial districts or recreational areas, and are
