This <br /> definition encompasses biliboards and outdoor advertising signs. <br /> SIGN, ON-PREMISE: A sign that pertains to the use of the premises on which it is located. <br /> SIGN, PORTABLE: A sign constructed of rigid or semi-rigid materials designed to be moved <br /> easily and not permanently affixed to the ground or to a structure or building. Portable signs <br /> shall include,but are not limited to, signs mounted upon a trailer,bench,wheeled camer, or <br /> other non-motorized mobile structure with or without wheels. <br /> SIGN, PROJECTING YARD: A sign attached to the side of a building that projects into the <br /> yard adjacent to the wall on which the sign is attached.
