. <br /> AMENDMENT TO JURY PARKING AGREEMENT <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Decatur, Illinois, a municipal corporation("City") and the County <br /> of Macon, a unit of local government("County") entered into an agreement ("Agreement") dated <br /> October 30, 1995 for jury parking; and <br /> WHEREAS, County has reduced jury service from 12 two-week jury terms down to 10 <br /> two-week jury tertns commencing January 1, 2002; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Agreement fixed monthly payments of$600 for each of the 12 jury <br /> terms; and <br /> WHEREAS, City and County agree that monthly payments should be temporarily reduced <br /> in direct proportion to the reduced use of inetered parking. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, City and County agree as follows: <br /> l. Commencing with January 1, 2002, and for such period of time thereafter as there <br /> are only 10 two-week jury terms during the calendar year instead of 12 two-week <br /> jury terms, the monthly payment specified by paragraph 3 of the Agreement shall <br /> be reduced from $600 to $500. <br /> 2.
