� , , . <br /> AGREEMENT FOR CONSULTING SERVICES <br /> BETWEEN <br /> GROUP 1 RESOURCES, INCORPORATED <br /> and <br /> THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS <br /> I. PARTIES TO AGREEMENT <br /> The CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS, a Municipal Corporation (hereinafter referred to as the <br /> "City"), with offices located at the Decatur Civic Center, One Gary K. Anderson Plaza, Decatur, <br /> Illinois 62523 and Group 1 Resources, Incorporated (hereinafter referred to as the <br /> "Consultant"), in consideration of the mutual benefits herein set forth, do hereby agree as <br /> follows. <br /> II. PROJECT COORDINATION <br /> A. The City hereby designates Gerard J. Bauer (hereinafter referred to as the "Project <br /> Manager") as the person who shall be the City's representative to the Consultant for all <br /> purposes on this project, but expressly reserves the right to designate some other <br /> person as its representative, at the discretion of the City Manager. The City's Project <br /> Manager will make available all technical matter, data, information, operating supplies, <br /> and computer system(s), as may reasonably be required by Consultant to perform the <br /> Professional Services specified in the Statement of Work. <br /> B. The Consultant hereby designates Matthew W. Klemp as its Project Manager, <br /> responsible to the City for all technical and services aspects of the project. <br /> C. Within five (5) working days following the signing of this contract, City and Consultant <br /> Project Managers will develop an agreed-upon progress schedule for completion of the <br /> project. <br /> III. SCOPE OF WORK. <br /> The Consultant agrees to carry out the following work (hereinafter the "project") to the <br /> satisfaction of the Project Manager. Those tasks preceded by a "G" are the responsibility of the <br /> Consultant; those tasks preceded by a "C" are the responsibility of the City; and those tasks <br /> preceded by a "J" are the joint of responsibility of the Consultant and the City. <br /> Phase 1: Project Initiation <br /> 1. G -Meet with City Manager to review work plan and product. <br /> 2. G -Meet with task group to review work plan and product. <br /> 3. J - Meet with stakeholders to announce project and obtain buy-in. <br /> 1 <br />
