Anderson Plaza 401 Southwest Water Street <br /> Decatur, Illinois 62523-1196 Suite 701 <br /> (217) 424-2747 Peoria, Illinois 61602 <br /> (309) 282-8000 <br /> PROJECT DESCRIPTION: <br /> The intent of this study is to document current inventory of space and furniture and to define current <br /> and future space and functional adjacency needs for all City Departments. The study will provide <br /> alternatives for meeting space needs and a cost estimate for each alternative. It is the intent to <br /> complete this study within 180 days. Specific tasks are as described below. PSA will complete this <br /> work in association with Haley Architectural Group of Decatur. <br /> PROJECT SCOPE: <br /> Specific tasks to be included in Part 1 of the Facility Needs Assessment Study by PSA include the <br /> following: <br /> Task 1: Planning Criteria/Demographics <br /> PSA will establish a planning base for future projections of quantity and organization of City Staff <br /> in all departments. This analysis will rely on existing data available to the City of Decatur on <br /> population, downtown master planning information and other applicable planning data. The <br /> outcome of this task will be a master organization chart and multiple subcharts indicating City <br /> Staff organization and quantities. PSA will make projections based on provided data and <br /> experiences with similar municipalities to represent potential staffing needs to the year 2025. This <br /> projection will be documented in narrative and graphic form and will serve as primary criteria for <br /> projecting related space needs. <br /> Page 1 of 4 <br />
