Task 7: Existing Furniture Inventory <br /> PSA will complete an inventory of existing furniture organized by department. The <br /> inventory will indicate condition and will be in electronic and hard copy format and will <br /> include photographs of each piece. <br /> Task 8: Site Evaluation <br /> PSA will evaluate two potential sites for solution alternatives within the agreed scope of <br /> work and fee. Sites will be evaluated according to physicaUfunctional, economic, and <br /> environmental criteria to determine the best option to the City. Additional sites may be <br /> evaluated at the City's option for additional fees. This work may be used for addressing ' <br /> building or parking needs that are determined in the course of the Study. ' <br /> Task 9: Facili . Tour(s (Ontional� � <br /> PSA will coordinate tours by City Staff of two or more comparable facilities in other cities <br /> that approximate Decatur's space needs. The tour(s)will represent implementation options <br /> for design and operating procedures. The tours will facilitate building planning and enhance ' <br /> the Architect and Building Users' understanding of Decatur's needs. This item is optional at ', <br /> the discretion of the City and will require additional compensation to PSA. I <br /> Task 10: Concept Site Plan and Floor Plan <br /> At least two alternative concept plans will be developed to represent appropriate site utilization <br /> and floor planning for each solution. General sequence of implementation will be indicated for , <br /> each alternative. Construction cost and total project budget estimates will be developed for each <br /> planning concept. <br /> Task 11 : Cost Data <br /> A preliminary estimate of construction cost, which will include building construction, site <br /> development, furniture, demolition and contingency costs, will be prepared for each alternative. <br /> Estimated project cost which includes architect and engineer compensation and other costs not <br /> included in construction will be prepared for each alternative considered. These cost estimates <br /> will be included as part of the report. Square footage requirements will be multiplied by <br /> appropriate square foot unit costs to project the preliminary construction cost budget. <br /> Task 12: Recommendation ' <br /> PSA will recommend an option for the City to meet current and future space needs. <br /> Page 3 of 4 <br />
