R2001-187 <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID AND AUTHORIZING <br /> THE EXECUTION OF A CONTRACT <br /> MISCELLANEOUS MANHOLE REPLACEMENT <br /> CITY PROJECT 2001-41 <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That the tabulation of bids received for City Project 2001-41, Miscellaneous <br /> Manhole Replacement, and presented herewith be received and placed on file. <br /> Section 2. That the bid of Bodine Services, Inc., be accepted and a contract awarded, <br /> accordingly. <br /> Section 3. That the Mayor and City Clerk be, and they are hereby authorized and directed <br /> to execute a contract between the City of Decatur, Illinois, and Bodine Services, Inc., for said <br /> plan for their bid price of$48,915.00. <br /> Section 4. That the City Manager and the Director of Engineering and Infrastructure be, <br /> and they are hereby, authorized at their discretion to increase the contract amount by not more <br /> than $25,000.00 to facilitate other manhole / sewer problems as they arise, and said officers and <br /> the City Clerk be, and they are hereby, further authorized and directed to execute documents to <br /> effect said increase. <br /> PRESENTED and ADOPTED this 15th day of October, 2001. <br /> .��� <br /> ��� <br /> T M.
