Task 4.0 - Prepare Final Urban Corridors Plan.This task will last a�proximately five (S� weeks. HOK will prepare the Final Plan Deliverables for review with and final presentation to The City Council. Task 4.1 - Develop Finol Urban Corridors Plan Deliverables - HOK and CBB will review the Final Urban Corridors Plan with the Steenng Committee and City Stafffor approval for final production of the required numbers of final documents. • Finalize corridor improvement strategies. • Finalize traffic and roadway strategies. • Finalize phasing strategies. • Finalize implementation strategies. • Finalize Report and camera-ready artwork. • Obtain Steering Committee approval to print Final Corridor Plan documents. Task 4.2 - Final Submission and Presentation • Submit final documents. • Present Final Comdor Plan to The City Council. SCOPE OF WORK FOR WEST MAIN STREETSCAPE Task 1.0 - Inventory, Analysis. This task will last a�proximately six �6 weeks. HOK will review, compile and assess the available base map and visit the project site from North Main Street to Fairview Avenue. Prepare preliminary inventory& analyses; identify issues associated with the general historic context of the area and adjacent land uses. HOK will review this information with City Staff and the Historical &Architectural Sites Commission (HASC). Conduct a public participation kick-off meeting to review inventory& analysis and conduct a goal-setting workshop. Clearly establish a basis for determining the conceptual approaches for the development of the West Main Streetscape. Task 1.1 Dato Collection— HOK will provide a checkiist of desired information to The City to assist in obtaining all necessary base map, land use data, ownership information, construction plans, survey and other information pertinent to develop the West Main Streetscape. • Meet with officials from relevant Govemment authorities and agencies. • Review all of the information provided and made available to HOK. • Compile and prepare preliminary assessments of the information. • Determine any additional information requirements for the preparation of The West Main Streetscape. Task 1.2 Site ond Visual CharocterAnalysis - HOK will review the physical context ofthe West Main Streetscape with a particular emphasis on the important physical elements, both natural and man-made. This effort will also include an examination of the historical conte�, parking, transportation access and the relationship to residential, commercial and other land uses. • Visit The West Main Streetscape project area with the project team to identify the important physical and visual elements. • Prepare a block-by-block inventory and analysis of the elements in the project area including: - On-street parking, page 6 of 16
