Dunn <br /> Company was the sole bidder on the $1.5 million Annual Street Reconstruction Project that was <br /> awarded in May 2001, and has been the sole bidder on the Base Failure Project for the last seven <br /> years. City staff believes that it is likely that Dunn Company would be the sole bidder on the <br />, smaller scale ro'ects that encom ass the Annual Alle Restoration Pro'ect and the Annual Street <br /> P J P Y J <br /> Base Failure Repair project. To this end staff has asked Dunn Company to submit a quotation <br /> for the work items that would govern these projects. The quotation for the additional work is <br /> provided on the attachment. The quotation given is in line with past and current wark of a <br /> similar nature that has been and is being done in the City. <br /> It is proposed that the Council authorize the additional work to be added to the current Annual <br /> Street Reconstruction Project contract that the City has with Dunn Company. <br /> POTENTIAL OBJECTION: There are no known objections to this resolution. <br /> INPUT FROM OTHER SOURCES: None <br /> STAFF REFERENCE: Matt Newell, City Engineer, at 424-2747 <br /> BUDGET/TIME IMPLICATIONS: <br /> Funding for these projects is currently budgeted in the City's Capital Improvement Fund at <br /> $114,985. <br /> The project is scheduled to begin within two weeks after the approval from the City Council and <br /> should be completed within 2 months.
