R2001-124 <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING TERMINATION OF CONTRACT <br /> - SUBURBAN, INC. - <br /> - CURBSIDE LEAF VACUUMING- <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed, on behalf <br /> of the CITY OF DECATUR, to negotiate an agreement with SUBURBAN, INC., to terminate <br /> that contract for leaf vacuuming services between SUBURBAN and the CITY, which contract is <br /> dated August 14, 2000 and was approved by Resolution No. 2000-140, and under which <br /> termination agreement SUBURBAN is relieved of any obligation to provide fizrther leaf <br /> vacuuming services and the CITY is relieved of any obligation to make further payments to <br /> SUBURBAN, and containing such other terms and conditions as are determined appropriate and <br /> necessary by said Manager to efFect the purpose and intent hereof; and that the City Manager and <br /> City Clerk be, and they are hereby, authorized and directed to sign, seal, and attest said <br /> agreement on behalf of the City. <br /> PRESENTED and ADOPTED this 25th day of June, 2001. <br /> TERRY M.
