! � RESOLUTION NO. R2001-28 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE - OF TWO USED TRANSIT COACHES- WHEREAS the municipality of Loves Park, IL, wishes to terminate its transit operations, and to release its six transit vehicles to the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) for the use of any agencies which desires to have them, and WHEREAS the Decatur Public Transit System applied to IDOT to receive one or more of these vehicles, to serve as standby vehicles to ensure that there are always enough buses in operation to meet our peak needs, and WHEREAS IDOT has determined that it would award Decatur two 1986, GMC, 35' transit coaches at no cost. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: Section 1. That the Decatur Public Transit System is hereby authorized to accept two used transit coaches from the municipality of Loves Park, IL, at no cost. Section 2. That Council hereby authorizes and approves the amendment of Federal Grant No. IL-90-X388 to show the value of the vehicles to be transferred from Loves Park, IL, to the Decatur Public Transit System.
