KRAMER,JR. to rezone the ' <br /> premises at 143 and 151 South Witt Street and 1244 <br /> and 1260 East Wood Street from R-5 Two-Family � <br /> Dwelling District to O-1 Office District. '� <br /> Ms. Suzan Stickle was sworn in by Ms. Jesse �i <br /> Ms. Stickle gave the following recommendation of the staff. I!, <br /> The subject site is approximately 20,000 square feet and contains two (2) existing I' <br /> residential structures, an accessory structure and a gravel parking lot. Utilities are <br /> available at the site. '�� <br /> The subject petition requests rezoning to O-1 Office District to allow for the construction <br /> of a veterinarian clinic and a parking lot to serve the site. <br /> The surrounding zoning includes R-5 Two-Family Residence District and B-2 <br /> Commercial District. The proposed rezoning is compatible with the adjacent commercial <br /> zoning to the east. The rezoning of the subject property to O-1 Office District is in <br /> harmony with the intent of the Comprehensive Plan. <br /> Staff recommends approval of the rezoning petition with the following conditions: <br /> A site plan meeting the requirements of the Zoning Ordinance will be submitted and <br /> approved by the Engineering and Infrastructure Department and the Economic and Urban <br /> Development Department. <br /> Mr. Nordholm asked if the site plan included landscaping. Ms. Stickle responded that it <br /> did. <br /> Mr. Naber stated he was confused with the report, the petition states 14,000 square feet <br /> and staff report states 20,000 square feet for the size of the site. Ms. Stickle responded <br /> that the 14,000 square feet does not include a portion of the lot. <br /> Mr. Orson Kramer, Jr., petitioner,was sworn in by Ms. Jesse. <br /> Mr. Kramer stated that he wanted to take down two (2) homes that are not in good repair <br /> to construct a Vet Clinic. <br /> There were no objectors present. <br /> It was moved and seconded (Wakeland/Smith)to forward Cal. No. 04-27 to the City <br /> Council with the recommendation for approval as submitted by petitioner. Motion <br /> carried unanimously. <br />
