He was also concerned if ADM might tear down <br /> the house leaving the area more exposed for the other two houses to see more of the <br /> water treatment plant in their backyard. <br /> Ms. Miller said that would be a question for a representative of ADM. <br /> Mr. John Thalhauser from ADM was sworn in by Mrs. Althoff. <br /> Mr. Thalhouser answered Mr. Nordholm's question by responding that ADM had no <br /> intention of demolishing the house at this time and felt like it served as a buffer. <br /> Mr. Nordholm was very concerned that the zoning sign was not placed at the vacant lot <br /> and was not very visible to the neighbors. He worried that they did not know exactly <br /> what was happening. <br /> Mr. Bragg assured Mr. Nordholm that the signs were placed in the appropriate location. <br /> Mr. Thalhouser added that ADM's intention was to continue operation of the facility in a <br /> manner that would not disturb the neighbors. <br /> Mr. Nordholm did not question operations,but was concerned about the sign placement <br /> for zoning hearing. <br /> Mr. Krieger stated that legal notice was published in the Herald & Review and <br /> specifically stated when the public hearing was. <br /> There were no objectors present. <br /> It was moved and seconded(Wakeland/Peck) to forward Cal. No. 03-37 to City Council <br /> with recommendation for approval with staff's recommendation. Motion carried with <br /> Steve John abstaining. <br />
