Staff finds the proposed amendments to be consistent with the intent of the previously approved
PUD, the Near North Neighborhood Redevelopment Plan and the Near North Master Plan
Supplement. The developer, Decatur Housing Authority and the City of Decatur have been able
to refine the costs of the project while retaining the public amenities needed to develop the site in
the pattern of a traditional neighborhood. Accordingly, staff recommends approval of the
petition as proposed.
Mr. James Bell,Eastlake, was sworn in by Mrs. Henderson.
Mr. Bell spoke for the petition stating that changes were made to the infrastructure as noted by
Mr. Bragg. He thanked the Commission for their time and stated that he looked forward to
approval of this petition. Also present were Jim Alpi,Jeff Haley, Kent Massie and Dan Good.
 There were no objectors present.
It was moved and seconded(Peck/Wakeland)to forward Cal.
