Purpose <br /> The buiYding at 239 W. Prairie was originally purchased with the idea of providing <br /> . additional office space for the Decatur Catholic Charities. Since then, social services <br /> program changes have occurred with the net result of a reduction in the amount of office <br /> space required. Therefore, the proposed conditional use would allow Catholic Charities <br /> to utilize the building to house there community service programs (clothing <br /> store/distribution and food pantry) and additional office space for social services program <br /> expansion and a conference room. <br />
