ORDINANCE NO. 2003-18 <br /> AN ORDINANCE REZONING PROPERTY <br /> - 3789 NORTH WATER STREET - <br /> WHEREAS, on the 3rd day of April, upon due notice, the Decatur City Plan Commission <br /> held a public hearing upon the petition of Target Corporation to rezone premises described as: <br /> The North Half of the Northeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 34, <br /> Township 17 North, Range Two (2) East of the Third P.M., in Macon County, <br /> Illinois, except that portion dedicated to public right-of-way, <br /> from R-3 Single Family Residence District to B-3 Planned Shopping Center District; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the Decatur City Plan Commission recommended that the prayer of said <br /> petition be granted. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That the recommendation of the Decatur City Plan Commission be, and the <br /> same is hereby,received,placed on file and approved. <br /> Section 2. That with regard to the above-described Petition, the Council makes the <br /> following findings: <br /> A. That the proposed development is being developed in accordance with <br /> an integrated overall design plan, and can be developed within that plan. <br />
