In June of 2002,the Plan Commission recommended approval and the City Council approved
a planned development for additional parking and a new office building at this location.
Since that time, the hospital has determined a greater need than originally anticipated and is
seeking approval of the addition of a third floor to the previously approved office building. j
The proposal will increase the size of the building from 27,500 to 37,500 square feet. In ',
addition, the proposed parking lot configuration has changed slightly adding an additional 'I
row to the doctor's parking area which is segregated from the remainder of the parking lot I
with landscaping. The total number of parking spaces has not changed. All other aspects of I
the planned development remain unchanged. i
STAFF ANALYSIS !
1. The use associated with the medical office facility is consistent with the planned development
previously approved. The addition to the building will not adversely impact the
neighborhood in any significant manner.
