� � , <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 2002-72 <br /> ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That Section II of the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Decatur <br /> (Ordinance No. 2002-33) be, and the same is hereby, amended at the listed <br /> alphabetically-ordered definitions of "Day Care Home," "Day Care Center," "Home <br /> Occupation," "Public Utility Facilities," and "Recreation Commercial" thereof, so that <br /> said listed definitions, as amended, shall provide as follows: <br /> DAY CARE HOME: <br /> Day Care Home, Small: A private residence wherein the owners residing thereon <br /> provide care for less than 24 hours per day for no more than three additional minor <br /> children other than the owner's dependent children. <br /> Day Care Home, Large: A business licensed by the State of Illinois conducted <br /> wholly within a private residence, wherein the owners residing thereon, along with <br /> any additional caregivers allowed by the State license,provide care for minor children <br /> for less than 24 hours per day, and where the number of children cared for exceeds the <br /> maximums for Day Care Home, Small. The maximum number of children cared for <br /> shall not exceed the maximum allowed by the State of Illinois. <br /> DAY CARE CENTER: A business licensed by the State of Illinois and not conducted <br /> within a private residence where three or more minor children are cared for less than <br /> 24 hours per day. <br /> HOME OCCUPATION: Any occupation or activity entirely incidental to residential use, <br /> when (1) carried on in the Main Building or a portion of a private garage, provided <br />
