� ` <br /> that the garage is primarily dedicated to storage and is not used primarily or <br /> exclusively for the home occupation; (2) is carried on by a member of the immediate <br /> family, residing on the premises, (3)there is no commodity displayed or sold upon the <br /> premises; (4) no person is employed other than a member of the immediate family <br /> residing on the premises; and (5) no mechanical equipment is used except of a type <br /> that is similar in character to that normally used for purely domestic or household <br /> purposes. <br /> Home occupation shall also include: private tutoring limited to three pupils at any <br /> one time; nursery schools limited to three pupils; musical instruction limited to a <br /> single pupil at a time and a m�imum of four hours of instruction per day; day care <br /> home, small; architects, professional engineers, surveyors, and other professional <br /> persons, provided that no person is employed other than a member of the immediate <br /> family residing on the premises. However, a home occupation shall not be interpreted <br /> to include barber shops and beauty parlors, palm reading/tarot card reading or similar <br /> business in which spiritual advice or fortune telling is conducted for a fee; <br /> commercial stables,kennels, or any kind of automotive service and repair for a fee. <br /> Home occupation may include the use of premises by a physician, surgeon or dentist <br /> for an office, consultation, or emergency treahnent, but not as a clinic, hospital, or <br /> other medical practice. <br /> PUBLIC UTILITY FACILITIES: Buildings or above-ground structures required to <br /> provide public utility services including electricity, telephone, cable TV, natural gas, <br /> water, sewerage, solid waste, and resource recovery. For purposes of this ordinance, <br /> there are two categories of public utility facilities, as follows: <br /> Regional: Natural gas or water regulation station; Pumping station; Telephone and <br /> electrical distribution system; Transmission or metering station; Electric substation; <br /> Water treatment facility; Solid waste lift station. <br /> System: Sewage disposal or treatment facility; Electric power generation plant; <br /> Sanitary landfill; Resource recovery facility such as incinerators for the generation of <br /> energy from waste materials. <br /> RECREATION, COMMERCIAL: A recreational facility operated as a business and <br /> open to the public for a fee. Swim clubs are not included in this definition.. This <br /> definition covers the following: <br /> Indoor facilities: Amusement arcades or establishments that primarily provide coin- <br /> or token-operated devices (popularly called pinball machines and video games); <br /> bowling alleys; dance halls, dance clubs, and ballrooms; racketball, handball, and <br /> squash clubs; skating rinks; indoor soccer fields and hockey rinks; and similar <br /> facilities. <br /> Outdoor facilities: Miniature golf; golf driving ranges; water slides; batting cages; <br /> tennis clubs; volleyball clubs; go-kart ar bump car establishments; and similar <br /> facilities. <br />
