E., Director of Engineering & Infrastructure <br /> SUBJECT: Ordinance Authorizing the Establishment of Stop Intersection at the <br /> Intersection of Church Street and Green Street <br /> SUMMARY RECOMMENDATION: <br /> Staff recommends the approval of the attached Ordinance. <br /> BACKGROUND: <br /> At the May, 2002 meeting of the Traffic and Parking Commission, the Commission approved a <br /> request from the Old King's Orchard Community Center to recommend the establishment of a <br /> stop at the subject intersection. This recommendation is aimed at reducing accidents and any <br /> immediate hazards at that intersection. <br /> POTENTIAL OBJECTION: There are no known objectors to this action. <br /> INPUT FROM OTHER SOURCES: Traffic and Parking Commission. <br /> STAFF REFERENCE: Stephen Swanson, Director of Engineering & Infrastructure at <br /> 424-2747. <br /> BUDGET/TIME IMPLICATIONS: Budgetary impacts are approximately$100.00 for the <br /> installation of the sign.
