MINUTES OF THE MEETING <br /> OF THE <br /> DECATUR CITY PLAN COMMISSION <br /> Thursday, Apri14, 2002,3:00 P.M. <br /> City Council Chambers, Decatur Civic Center <br /> ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- <br /> The Apri14, 2002 meeting of the Decatur City Plan Commission was called to order at 3:02 P.M. <br /> in the City Council Chambers, Third Floor of the Decatur Civic Center,by Chairman Jim <br /> Schiller who determined a quorum was present. <br /> Members Present: Jim Schiller, Dave Anderson, Doug Claypool, William Clevenger, <br /> Steve John, Susie Peck, Phyllis Sands, Mike Shampine, Tom Smith, <br /> Phyllis Washington <br /> Members Absent: Dan Oakes <br /> Staff Present: A.J. Krieger, Dane Bragg, Steve Van Steenhuyse, Kathy Miller, Hala <br /> Ahmed,Joselyn Stewart, Matt Newell, Wendy Morthland, Lori Henderson <br /> It was moved and seconded (Shampine/Sands) to approve the minutes of the March 7, 2002 <br /> meeting of the Decatur City Plan Commission as presented. Motion carried with abstention by ', <br /> Commissioners Clevenger, Peck and Washington. �'i <br /> Cal. No. 02-21 was moved to the first petition for business. I <br /> Cal. No. 02-21 Petition of SOUTH CREEK LIVING CENTER, 607 East Adams, <br /> Springfield, Illinois, to amend the R-5 Two Family Residence District, <br /> Planned Unit Development at 125 ENLOW DRIVE to allow construction <br /> of a 54 unit assisted living facility. <br /> Mr. Schiller announced that Cal. No. 02-21, Petition of South Creek Living Center, was being <br /> tabled at the request of the petitioner. <br /> It was moved and seconded (Smith/Shampine) to table Cal. No. 02-21 until the May 2002 <br /> meeting of the Decatur City Plan Commission. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Cal. No. 02-15 Petition of DECATUR MEMORIAL HEALTH FOUNDATION, 2300 <br /> North Edward, to rezone the premises at 2200 NORTH UNION STREET, <br /> from R-3 Single Family Residence District to O-1 Office District and <br /> for subsequent approval of an O-1 Planned Unit Development for the <br /> premises at 2200 NORTH UNION STREET and the vacated rights-of- <br /> way of West Hay Street and North Union Street adjacent to Decatur <br />� Memorial Hospital. <br />
